Cindy Leopold Ritsko (C. A. Ritz) BIO:
Originally from Ohio, Cindy Leopold-Ritsko has resided or traveled through many U.S. states and parts of Europe. She holds an A.A. in Business, a B.A. with emphasis in education, and a M.A. in theology. She has taken college courses in graphic and fine arts. Technology is ever changing, so she continues learning as a member and facilitating for others as Community Manager of Storyteller Academy.
Cindy is the former Assistant Regional Advisor for Nevada SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators), and has hosted the One Agent at a Time Webinar Series. She has been inspired by and is appreciative of SCBWI.
As a contributing writer for Las Vegas Pet Scene Magazine since 2014 under the name, C. A. Ritz, Cindy has written articles for children, visited classrooms to encourage literacy, and serves as a photo contest judge for the magazine.
By the way, if you can’t find Cindy, try looking up. She’s never stopped climbing trees. Dancing is also a passion. As a member of the Sun City Aliante Steppers, Cindy was a gold medalist in Nevada’s Senior Olympics (2018) and continues performing with the Steppers for fundraisers and benefits throughout the Greater Las Vegas area. Her lyrical stories reflect her background in music and dance, although she’s often missing from the pictures since she is the photographer.
